Designing The Website

The user friendliness of the user interface and the attractiveness of the website are very important. There are some basic principles that you can adhere to when designing your website.

1. Selecting a theme for the website

Basically, the theme reflects your mind and connects to the user or customer immediately upon entrance to the site. It provides the first impression.

2. Selecting the color scheme for the website

The choice of color is very important in designing the website. The right color combination will make the website attractive. But if you use the wrong color combination, the users will turn-off your website immediately. It is advisable to use no more than three colors.

3. Selecting font style

The texts must be displayed using the appropriate font, style and size. Similar to the color scheme, do not use more than three font styles and sizes. It makes reading rather difficult.

4. Designing the navigation

It is very important to design the overall structure for the navigation right from the start. The navigation must be consistent throughout the website.

Again, there are some important things to avoid when designing the website.

1. Avoid large media files

Large media files such as large images, audio or video makes downloading of the page slow and the user usually turns off your website.

2. Avoid long Web pages

A Web page that requires the user to scroll more than two screens is not friendly. You should use navigational tools to split the content instead.

3. Avoid cluttering the Web page

A Web page that has too much actions, animations and content will make the audience frustrated as these make them lose their focus.
